* The annual pass entitles the holder to free admission to all exhibitions of the Museum. It is non-transferable and only valid when carried in conjunction with an identity card. Additionally, pass holders may bring one companion for free on weekends. Please read the General Terms and Conditions when purchasing the annual pass.


Reduced admission is granted to the following visitors (proof of identification required)::

  • Pupils (including vocational school pupils) ages 18 and older (when not part of a group)
  • Students
  • Trainees
  • Severely handicapped people with a reduced earning capacity of 50 % or more
  • Recipients of unemployment benefits (ALG II)
  • Recipients of benefits in accordance with the German Social Welfare Law for Asylum Seekers (AsylbLG)
  • Recipients of basic subsistence income for the elderly and for people with reduced earning capacity
  • Members of the Bundeswehr Reserve Association "Reservisten der Bundeswehr e.V."
  • Members of the German War Graves Commission "Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V."
  • Members of the German Bundeswehrverband
  • Holders of the "Kulturpass Elbe-Labe"

Free admissionis granted to the following visitors (proof of identification required):

  • Children and youth under 18
  • School groups (and vocational school groups) with pupils over 18
  • Volunteers performing military, social, or environmental services
  • Bundeswehr civilian employees and soldiers
  • Bundeswehr reservists with ID R/E
  • Soldiers who have retired due to a recognised service-related disability
  • Members of NATO armed forces
  • Person accompanying a disabled person, if specified in severe disability ID
  • Members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM)
  • Members of the German Museums Association "Deutscher Museumsbund"
  • Members of the Registered Association of Friends and Patrons of the Bundeswehr Museum of Military History
  • Representatives of the press
  • Registered groups from the Bundeswehr Career Centre (recruitment advertising)
  • Registered groups with youth officers (Bundeswehr PR and information activities)

In individual cases, the Director of the Museum may exempt certain groups or visitors from charge.
